TMJ launches the design, concept of JDT Football Stadium


GELANG PATAH: Tunku Mahkota Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim today is pleased to complete the design and concept of Johor Darul Ta'zim Football Stadium (JDT) for the first time.

The design of the JDT Football Stadium inspired by the banana leaves and the Forest City development has started the site work and is expected to be completed by the end of next year.

The stadium is capable of loading up to 40,000 spectators, as well as having a natural meadow facility that meets the FIFA standard, modern lighting system, sound system and broadcasting facilities.

Country Garden Pacificview (CGPV) executive director, Datuk Md Othman Yusof, said the stadium will be built on a land of 70,000 square meters from the total area of ​​†<†<140 br="" meters.="" square="">
"Forest City is proud to be in partnership with the JDT football team and given the confidence to build this new stadium.

"To date, the construction of the stadium is in line with planned timing and site work is underway, we expect it to be fully completed by the end of next year," he said.

He was speaking at a press conference after the launch of the JDT Football Stadium's design and concept at the Phoenix Forest City Hotel here today.

Also departing, Tunku Ismail's wife, Che 'Puan Khaleeda Bustamam.

Also present were Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin; State Secretary Datuk Azmi Rohani and CGPV Executive Chairman Datuk Daing Abdul Malek Daing Abdul Rahaman; Country Garden Holdings Chief Executive Officer, Mo Bin and CGPV Chief Executive Officer, Su Baiyan.

The new stadium will also host the JDT team at Tan Sri Hassan Yunos Stadium in Larkin.
